I have been working in the property field since 2005. I started working as an estate agent selling properties while studying to become an architect. In the 3 years as an estate agent I have come to know what is looked for in a property and learned to listen to the needs of each client as no one’s needs are the same. I then started working as a designer for a roof truss company where I designed timber roof trusses to advanced levels to start an understanding of construction better. After that I designed light steel frame buildings for one of the top light steel frame companies in South Africa for a better understanding on alternative building methods. I also played my part in construction to get to know the limitations provided by each construction method used. That brought me to where I am today, being able to design a building specific to each clients needs at a budget provided and making sure that is plausible to be built. I also managed government contracts on behalf of clients by managing various parts of the projects.
